A specific story from the first episode of KBS Joy‘s Story Survival is making headlines nationwide.
This story starts with Ms. A sharing that her and her boyfriend were getting ready for marriage. She was busy with wedding preparations so she asked her best friend to help out with her newlywed home. Ms. A shared that after awhile, she noticed her best friend and her boyfriend getting unusually friendly with one another. She started to get suspicious after witnessing numerous phone calls between the two. One day, Ms. A went to her newlywed home where she found a pouch belonging to her best friend. When she recognized it as her best friend’s pouch, she opened it to see what was inside.
To her absolute dismay, she not only found a positive pregnancy test inside her best friend’s pouch, but she also found an ultrasound photo of a baby. She had only one person to suspect and immediately called her best friend over to confront her about it.
It was at the confrontation of her best friend that Ms. A’s suspicions were confirmed. She found out that her boyfriend had gotten her best friend pregnant in their newlywed home!
As if the situation weren’t crazy enough, Ms. A’s boyfriend and her best friend revealed even more shocking news. Her boyfriend shared that he wanted to take responsibility for his actions and take care of her best friend’s baby. This suggests that he was planning on leaving Ms. A for her best friend.
Her best friend added even more shock onto the situation by sharing what she did the day before.
The story doesn’t end here, however. After finding out about her boyfriend and best friend’s betrayal, Ms. A had started to struggle with depression. She hadn’t eaten or slept in days and as a result, she fainted. She was rushed to the hospital and it was then that the doctors informed her of her own shocking news.
Ms. A shared that while she did not want to contact her boyfriend, she had to inform him of her pregnancy. It was to her pregnancy news, however, that Ms. A’s boyfriend flipped the switch and completely changed the narrative.
As if that weren’t ridiculous enough, Ms. A’s boyfriend continued with his apology by completely disregarding Ms. A’s best friend.
After hearing this story, the hosts of the show screamed in complete disbelief. Comedian Park Na Rae and actress Hwang Bora can be heard saying, “that’s crazy” multiple times. The craziness of this story earned itself the title, “Legendary Story” after garnering unanimous votes.
