Chairman of the Regional People’s Representative Council (DPRD) Indragiri Hilir (Inhil) Regency, Ferryandi, inaugurated the Darul Islam Surau in Talang Jangkang Village, Kemuning District on Sunday, February 14, 2021.
Also attending this activity were the Head of Talang Village, jangkang Aminuddin, the Head of Limau Village, Nanis Herman, Bhabinkamtibmas Aipda Rustam Efendi, religious leaders, community leaders.
The inauguration of the mosque was marked by the cutting of the ribbon by Ferryandi accompanied by the board of the Darul Islam Surau.
In his remarks, Ferryandi said that this mosque was a manifestation of the hard work of the Talang Jangkang village government and the people of Kemuning who had jointly contributed to the construction of this mosque.
“Hopefully it will become an act of worship for all those who have contributed both material and non-material,” he concluded.
