“Previously, Commission II had said that we asked for clear work progress. And we have also said that if the PDAM is unable to solve the problem, please resign,” said Junaidi.
Junaidi said that currently PDAM’s performance has started to improve, and hopes that the problem can be resolved gradually.
On that occasion, Junaidi also touched on the issue of subsidized tariffs provided by the government to PDAM customers, but he emphasized which PDAM customers should be subsidized.
“We agree on tariff subsidies, but which customers were given subsidies in the past, it is impossible for commercial customers to be given subsidies,” he said.
Then, the water reservoir in Tempuling sub-district which is currently in neglect due to legal problems will find a solution.
“For the embung problem, because this is still in the provincial realm, of course, we ask the provincial side’s attention, because it is a shame if this embung is neglected,” said Junaidi.
For the presentation that will be made by PDAM Tirta Indragiri, DPRD Inhil will hold a joint meeting with related agencies, so that what PDAM needs can be helped.
“Regarding the time we will coordinate first with the two DPRDs, but we hope it can be done as soon as possible. We also ask the presence of friends from Commission III and related OPD colleagues to attend,” he added.
