The Riau Provincial Government allocated a budget for infrastructure development of IDR 104 billion for Indragiri Hilir Regency in 2021. This was discovered after the working visit of Commission III (three) DPRD Inhil Regency to the PUPR Office of Riau Province.
The working visit led by the Chairperson of Commission III DPRD Inhil Regency, Iwan Taruna, was carried out with the aim of establishing coordination between Commission III of Inhil Regency DPRD and Riau Province PUPR Office regarding development.
According to the Head of the Planning Section for the Highways Sector of the Riau Province PUPR Office, Teja, the allocation of the IDR 104 billion development budget from the Riau Province APBD is inseparable from the role of Deputy Chair of Commission IV DPRD Riau Province, Dani M Nursalam.
“Alhamdulillah, this year Inhil received a budget of IDR 104 billion. This is all due to the struggle and support of a member of the Riau Provincial DPRD, Mr Dani M Nursalam,” explained Teja.
The Secretary of the Riau Province PUPR Office, who at that time welcomed the arrival of Commission III DPRD Inhil together with the Head of the Natural Resources Division, the Head of UPT Region 4 (four) and the Head of Planning for the Highways Sector of the PUPR Riau Province Office revealed that the budget of IDR 104 billion allocated using the Riau Province APBD consisted of 4 (four) programs and 11 (eleven) sub-activities.
Chairman of Commission III (three) DPRD Inhil Regency, Iwan Taruna expressed his gratitude to the Riau Provincial Government and members of the Riau Provincial DPRD as well as Deputy Chair of Commission IV (four), Dani M Nursalam for the struggle against infrastructure development in Inhil Regency.
“Thank you for your support and struggle for infrastructure development,” said Iwan Taruna while expressing his gratitude to other members of the Riau Province DPRD from Inhil Regency.
At the meeting, Iwan Taruna and members of Commission III who also came to visit conveyed complaints about the condition of infrastructure in Inhil Regency which is the authority of the Riau Provincial Government. They proposed several development activities under the authority of the Riau Provincial Government to become development priorities in the following year.
“Apart from that, with a different geographical location from other regencies / cities in Riau Province, Inhil Regency should have received a larger budget allocation,” said Iwan Taruna at the meeting which was also attended by the Head of Inhil Regency PUTR.
As for several infrastructure development programs and sub-activities to be implemented in the 2021 fiscal year, namely the construction of the Selensen – Kotabaru – Bagan Jaya road, the construction of the Kuala Saka – Teluk continued – Sei Guntung road, Tembilahan road construction – Kuala Saka Simpang road, reconstruction / capacity building Tembilahan – Kuala Saka intersection road structure, construction of the Air Baluy bridge on the Selensen – Kotabaru – Bagan Jaya road section. In addition, there is a program for the Improvement of Facilities, Infrastructure and Public Utilities (PSU) as well as routine maintenance of the Swamp Irrigation Network in Indragiri Hilir Regency.
