Regarding the Tembilahan Plaza Building, according to the Trade and Industry Department (Disdagtri) of Indragiri Hilir, the ownership has been returned to the local government and is in a very serious condition.
“The Tembilahan Plaza Building is almost unusable again as usual because the lower floor has sunk due to rain, it is flooded, and there is mud. Only a small part of the place can be used by merchants,” explained the Head of the Trade and Industry Department (Disdagtri) of Indragiri Hilir, Dhoan Dwi Anggara through the Head of Trade Department, Ahmad Fitri.
He also said that after the ownership of the plaza was handed over, up to now, the levies for traders have not been made.
“Until now, there has been no levy because the basic determination of the levy is not in accordance with the existing regional regulation,” he added.
He also explained about repairs, it is not certain that there will be repairs or even rebuilds. In addition to waiting for directions, he said, it is hoped that there will be investors who are willing to invest in building the plaza.
