The Chief of Police for the Indragiri Hilir Resort (Inhil), AKBP Dian Setyawan, and the joint team have succeeded in uncovering a case of violent theft on a DH speedboat in Palonga Waters in Kuala Gaung Village, GAS District, Indragiri Hilir.
The robbery case on a DH speedboat occurred on Friday, February 5, 2021, which caused Mr. Abdul Aziz to lose IDR 175 million and Mr. Budiansyah to lose IDR 40 million.
AKBP Dian Setyawan through Kasat Reskrim, AKP Indra Lamhot Sihombing said, “The perpetrators of violent theft on a speedboat destined for Tembilahan-Batang Tumu are eight people. Until now, three of the perpetrators have been arrested, while the other five are in pursuit,” he explained.
Indra said that previously the suspect had the intention to rob Mr. H. Aziz.
One of the perpetrators also monitored Mr. H. Aziz, who always took large amounts of money to Tembilahan.
“After making sure that Mr. H. Aziz really brought a lot of money, then the perpetrator with the initials H invited his two friends RB and YD to carry out the robbery,” he said.
