Drug trafficking in the Indragiri Hilir Regency is still high. Recently, the Indragiri Hilir Resort Police arrested 3 drug traffickers on Saturday, February 27, 2021, namely:
- F (37), a resident of Tembilahan Hulu Village, Tembilahan Hulu District,
- SB (26), resident of Pekan Arba Village, Tembilahan District
- M (37), a resident of Tembilahan Barat Village, Tembilahan Hulu District.
The Chief of Resort Police (Kapolres) Indragiri Hilir, AKBP Dian Setyawan through the Head of Public Relations Sub-Section AKP Warno said, of the three suspects, two of them, RF and SB, were first arrested. They were arrested in front of RF’s house.
After the development was carried out, the ranks of the Sat Intelkam and Sat Narcotics finally succeeded in catching M at his home.
“The disclosure of this type of crystal methamphetamine drug was initially obtained from the public about the narcotics transaction at RF’s house,” said AKP Warno.
From the hands of RF and SB, the police succeeded in securing a total of 7 packages of crystal methamphetamine. Meanwhile, M is the supplier of crystal methamphetamine.
“We have secured all the evidence. Including 4 units of cellphones, 1 motorbike, and IDR 732,000 cash,” he said.
