The elderly named Kartasiah is 80 years old and lives alone in a rickety hut.
Dandim 0314 / Indragiri Hilir, Lnf lmir Faishal said that this evacuation activity really requires a fair amount of struggle, because the road access that is traversed cannot be accessed by car.
“Because the road access cannot be passed by cars, the evacuation process is forced to use a motorbike to the border between Sialang Panjang Village and Pekan Kamis Village, which is about 4 kilometers away,” explained the Dandim.
From the border, the Dandim said that the grandmother was evacuated using the Kodim 0314 / Indragiri Hilir official car to Panti Pondok Bhakti Lansia Foundation in Tembilahan.
“Hopefully, the grandmother will feel at home, comfortable and safe in the Pondok Bhakti Lansia Foundation,” hoped the Dandim.
Meanwhile, the supervisor of the Pondok Bhakti Elderly, Darmadji, expressed his gratitude to Kodim 0314 / Indragiri Hilir for facilitating it and Koramil 01 / Tembilahan for helping the process of evacuating Kartasiah’s grandmother so that it went safely.
