Branch Deliberation (Musran) of the Tembilahan District Scout Movement was officially opened, Saturday, March 13, 2021, morning in the Senior High School 1 Hall.
There are a number of important messages conveyed by the Head of Kwarran Tembilahan District to the Subdistrict Conference participants, including the role of scouts during the Covid-19 pandemic.
“In line with the conditions during the Covid-19 Pandemic, Scouts must show their role in maintaining the unity of the country. As we know, overcoming Covid-19 requires mutual cooperation,” Trio said.
The event was opened directly by the Head of Tembilahan Sub-district, Lukman Hakim as Chairman of the Branch Advisory Council or Kamabiran.
In addition, according to him, Scouts can also play a role in transmitting the spirit of optimism in society. He considered that the Covid-19 pandemic had changed the order of habits.
“However, these changes should not make us despair, remain productive even in the midst of limitations, and try to adapt to the new normal that we face,” said Trio.
Trio said that the government had made various efforts to fight Corona and ran a vaccination program.
At present, he disclosed, there was also a lot of hoax information circulating about the Covid-19 vaccine, even though the vaccine had gone through various stages of clinical trials.
“Well, Scouts can play a role in fighting these hoaxes, starting from a small scale such as family. Don’t be afraid to be injected with vaccines because vaccines have been declared safe and lawful. With vaccines we protect ourselves and protect the country,” said Trio.
Furthermore, Trio said, the Scout Movement is an educational organization that focuses on education for children and adolescents and is not a social assistance organization, but the Scout movement remains active in carrying out various social service activities, community service, and community development.
This is in line with the Scout Movement’s code of honor, in the form of Dwi Satya and Tri Satya as well as Dwi Darma and Dasa Darma Pramuka.
“The main part of the honor is to emphasize the Scouts to be able to help fellow sentient beings and prepare themselves and participate in building society,” explained Trio.
In the Deliberation that was held, the Scout Movement Quarter of the Tembilahan Subdistrict also scheduled the election of the Chairperson of the Tembilahan Subdistrict Scout Movement Quarter for the next period.
Therefore, Trio hopes that the elected Chairman of the Scout Movement in Tembilahan Subdistrict will continue to hold the mandate given to him.
“Whoever will be elected later, of course, the best one will carry out more optimal tasks. Must be ready to be dynamic, collaborate, and synergize with all existing components, so that the management will be solid and unified,” said Trio.
Lastly, Trio also expressed his gratitude to the entire board of the Scout Movement of Tembilahan Subdistrict for their contribution and support during his leadership period.
“I thank you for your support who have contributed energy and thoughts during our stewardship, there are many shortcomings and various obstacles we face, we are sure that is the dynamics and learning process for us all, “said Trio.
