In commemorating the 49th PKK Movement Unity Day (HKG) which falls on March 4, the PKK Driving Team held a commemoration event which took place Monday, March 8, 2021, in Pekanbaru with the theme of the pioneers of change to advanced Indonesia.
In his remarks, the governor of Riau, Syamsuar, as the supervisor of the PKK in Riau Province, conveyed that the pioneering family of change towards advanced Indonesia.
The pioneers of change mean that the PKK Driving Team and Cadres throughout the archipelago, should know, want, and be able to become the front guard in realizing quality families in moral, educational, health, socio-cultural, economic, and environmental aspects.
As Chairperson of the PKK Driving Team for the province of Riau, Misnarni said that the implementation of national development carried out by the government in realizing an advanced Indonesia is still faced with various problems and challenges.
This confirms that the linkage between PKK programs and activities as Government Partners must be in synergy with the national and regional program and activity priorities because the PKK program will not be able to run optimally without the support of the local government.
The Riau Province PKK Driving Team won an achievement at the National level in the competition in the framework of the 49th HKG. The competitions that were won were Best Implementation in Orderly administration competition and Best Implementation in Ifa Test competition.
When met by the Chairperson of the TP PKK, Siak District, Rasidah Alfedri emphasized that one of the goals that would be carried out by the PKK Kedepanya movement was a family that was empowered and prosperous, namely a family that had the ability to improve the quality and standard of life both from the economic, education, health, socio-cultural aspects.
“In accordance with the mandate of the Governor of Riau who asked us to act as mouthpieces from the community, especially for the problem of stunting so that it can be prevented. Trying so that we can help families to increase family income. Even though we are currently in the period of the Covid pandemic, family income must also be considered” said Rasidah.
Rasidah Alfedri also expressed his condolences for the flash flood disaster that hit areas in East Nusa Tenggara and West Nusa Tenggara, since Sunday, April 4, 2021 yesterday. Siak Regency will collect from donors and make donations to victims affected by the disaster, “said Rasidah Alfedri.
