The Regent of Indragiri Hilir, HM Wardan attended and opened the coordination meeting for updating village and village profile data, in the hall of the Puri Cendana Building, Monday (05/04/2021) morning.
The event, sponsored by the Indragiri Hilir Community and Village Empowerment (PMD) office, presented a resource person, Afrizal, from the Provincial PMD Office.
In his remarks, the Regent conveyed the progress of inputting village and sub-district profiles which had only reached 82 percent.
Meanwhile, out of 197 villages that have inputted, there are 166 villages and 31 villages that have not inputted as well as from 39 sub-districts that have inputted as many as 27 villages and who have not inputted 12 sub-districts.
“From a total of 193 villages and sub-districts that have carried out input, they are classified as swadaya villages and sub-districts. Swadaya means that the administration is weak and the institutions have not been running well,” said the Regent.
The Regent hopes that this meeting will further optimize the function of the village and sub-district profile working group so that the village and kelurahan profile data of the Indragiri Hilir district are accurate, comprehensive, and integral.
At the end of his speech, he emphasized that all sub-district heads and related offices should cooperate with the village and sub-district authorities, so that the progress of entering village and sub-district profile data reaches 100 percent, thus encouraging the development of Swadaya Villages and Kelurahan to become Self-Helpful and Self-Sufficient.
To note, Swakarya is that administration has improved, institutional functions have started to run. Meanwhile, self-sufficiency is good administration, institutional functions are running well, facilities and infrastructure are complete.
This meeting was held for two (2) days, followed by the first batch of 68 participants consisting of village and sub-district, and sub-district profile working groups.
This second batch was attended by 9 sub-districts and 72 n consisting of village and sub-district profile working groups at the village and sub-district levels, as well as 11 sub-districts.
