Celebrating the 17th Anniversary of Indonesian Disaster Preparedness Cadets, Indragiri Hilir Social Service held thanksgiving at the Social Service Office yard, Saturday (10/04/2021).
By adhering to health protocols, the event ran smoothly with the presence of the Dandim 0314, Indragiri Hilir Police Chief, Regional Secretary, Head of Services, and related organizations in Indragiri Hilir.
“The existence of a disaster prepared village can organize the potential and manage community human resources in disaster management and is expected to increase the capacity of the community is facing challenges and risks,” said Regional Secretary of Indragiri Hilir Regency, Afrizal in delivering his speech.
Meanwhile, the Head of Indragiri Hilir Social Service, HM Arifin explained that Indonesia’s Tagana Anniversary which carries the theme “Synergy with Multi Parties to Succeed Tagana Protects Nature” was held with the aim of strengthening Tagana’s synergy as a Disaster Management Volunteer with Agencies.
“Tagana’s work is expected to be the protector of the community in disaster management. Synergize with other disaster organizations. Tagana is a volunteer who is ready, alert, and responsive in carrying out disaster management tasks,” said Arifin.
Not only holding a thanksgiving, but the Social Service also held other activities such as reforestation (tree planting) in the Yudha Bhakti Tembilahan and Tagana Food Park environment against Covid-19 by spraying disinfectants and distributing masks to the public.
