The Empowerment and Family Welfare Team of Siak District synergizes with Bumi Siak Pusako (BSP) company to share basic necessities for the poor, widows, and pre-prosperous communities in the Ramadan Blessing program.
The chairman of the Empowerment and Family Welfare Team of Siak District, Hj Rasidah Abdulgani, on this occasion expressed her appreciation to State-owned Enterprise, who every year takes part and cares for the community.
“With a sense of care from various parties, it is hoped that it can ease the burden on the community in carrying out fasting during this pandemic,” said Rasidah in Minas district.
She added that the Empowerment and Family Welfare Team of Siak District collaborate with Bumi Siak Pusako (BSP) company annually to provide assistance to the community.
The wife of the Siak Regent invites people who have excess sustenance to care for others, especially for the poor.
Moreover, according to her, giving alms in the month of Ramadan is highly recommended, because the month of Ramadan is a month full of blessings and glory. Every practice in the month of Ramadan will receive multiple rewards.
The number of basic food aid delivered was 320 packages, for 8 sub-districts, consisting of rice, oil, flour, eggs, and other basic necessities.
Meanwhile, the number of basic food recipients was 320 people and 40 people were taken from each district. It consists of the districts of Kandis, Minas, Tualang, Koto Gasib, Mempura, Siak, Sabak Auh, and Sungai Mandau.
The community welcomed the distribution with enthusiasm and emotion. In addition, Rasidah also delivered food packages to the homes of underprivileged elderly residents. Among them, Mrs. Surti boru panjaitan, a resident of Kandis City, and Mrs. Nursiah, a resident of Minas Jaya Village, are lying sick.
