Dandim 0314 / Indragiri Hilir Lt. Col. Inf Imir Faishal together with the Vioni Brothers Foundation (YVB) distributed free takjil to the public and motorists who passed on Jalan Tanjung Harapan Tembilahan on Wednesday, April 21, 2021.
The takjil that were distributed came from merchandise from sellers in the local area, which had previously been bought up and packed into boxes prepared by YVB management.
Also attending at that time, members of DPRD Asmadi, Pasi Ter, and a number of members of Kodim 0314 / Indragiri Hilir, YVB Advisors Emmy Br Sambiring and Veni, and Chairman Vioni Izzati Karmelin accompanied by Srikandi YVB.
Dandim 0314 / Indragiri Hilir Lieutenant Colonel Inf Imir Faishal who was interviewed by the media crew after the activity revealed that during the month of Ramadan and the commemoration of Kartini Day in 2021, YVB has initiated activities that are very humanist, especially during a pandemic like today, namely by distributing takjil to the public.
This positive social activity is expected to become a virus that is both contagious and widespread so that more people will carry out similar activities and share with others.
“Let’s build and develop this area together, and share it with others, especially those who need it without any strings attached,” said the Dandim.
In line with that, YVB coach Marlis Syarif hopes that the takjil that is distributed can be useful for the community, especially as a meal when breaking the fast.
“Yes, although a loaf of bread, a glass of water, fruit soup, and a box of pecal, we do various takjil to people who want to break their fast. Hopefully it can relieve the throats of people who break their fast,” he said.
Meanwhile, Leni and Ros as the merchants’ owners expressed their gratitude and thanked the Dandim and the YVB supervisor, who had bought up their wares.
“Usually not as today, sometimes we just share it with the community, because if it is stored it is no longer possible, so it’s good that we donate it even though luckily it is tips. But today we didn’t expect to be bought out by the Dandim and Vioni Brothers Foundation. both are getting more and more health given, “he added.
