Meanwhile, at the VIII Siak Community Movement in Lubuk Dalam sub-district and the distribution of consumptive Zakat was received by 69 mustahik people from Lubuk Dalam sub-district with a value per person of IDR 1 million.
Meanwhile, for the Gemar Siak Berzakat community which lasted for 3 hours, the raised funds amounted to IDR 197 million. This number has increased compared to 2020, which amounted to IDR 180 million.

“Alhamdulillah, today we are carrying out the Gemar Siak activity in Lubuk Dalam sub-district, in just a few hours of the program, the collection of zakat funds from muzakki amounts to IDR 197 million,” said Alfedri at the Sultan Abdul Djalil Rahmadsyah Mosque, Rawang Kao Barat Village, Lubuk Dalam District.
He thanked the muzakki who had paid zakat at the Love to give zakat event.
“We pray for the Muzakki ladies who have given zakat, will be given health and expand their business” he said.
Furthermore, he also appealed to the mustahik to pray for the muzakki who have given zakat, for the muzakki who have assets but have not tithed, let’s pray so that they can easily issue zakat.
“The zakat money that we pay to Baznas is very helpful and eases the burden on our less fortunate citizens. What’s more, in the midst of a pandemic like now they are greatly helped by zakat money” he said.
At the event, the regent Alfedri symbolically handed over productive zakat to the mustahik and livable houses from Baznas Siak district to Mr. Sunardi, a resident of Empang Baru. He also became amil at the Gemar Siak event to give zakat in Lubuk Dalam sub-district.
