Resort Police of Indragiri Hilir provide compensation to orphans as a form of sharing kindness in filling the holy month of Ramadan. This was done to encourage police officers to compete to do good during Ramadan.
Chief of Indragiri Hilir Police Resort, AKBP Dian Setyawan through Public Relations Officer Ipda Esra said, Ramadan is a month full of goodness. To implement this meaning, the Inhil Police provided compensation to orphans door to door.
“We provide compensation to orphans of the National Police and to the community as many as 50 people,” he said, Tuesday, April 27, 2021.
AKBP Dian explained, orphaned compensation was carried out by implementing health protocols to prevent Covid-19 transmission.
The provision of compensation for orphans can be used as an example to members of the Indragiri Hilir Resort Police doing good things during Ramadan and in social life.
“Doing good by supporting orphans is only an example, but there are many other good things that can be provided with more benefits to the community,” he explained.
He revealed that the orphanage was a form of attention from the Indragiri Hilir Resort Police in protecting the community. According to him, the Indragiri Hilir Resort Police not only provide legal protection, but the Indragiri Hilir Resort Police are part of society in their life and society.
“This is a form of our concern and closeness to the community,” he said.
As many as 50 orphans each receive compensation of 400 thousand rupiah.
“Each of them will receive 400 thousand compensation, hopefully this will be utilized properly,” he said.
