TWG Tea is a Singapore-based luxury tea company. In Jakarta, the brand has two outlets located in Plaza Senayan and Pacific Place shopping malls in Central Jakarta.
TWG Tea marketing and communication executive Elisa Lie told The Jakarta Post that the brand owns around 800 varieties of tea, including special blends and single origins.
However, in Jakarta tea lovers can enjoy up to 450 teas, including the brand’s signature 1837 Black Tea, Singapore Breakfast Tea and Grand Wedding, with a price starting from Rp 65,000 (USD 4.45) per teapot.
Among the tea collection, customers can also try Grand Golden Yin Zhen.
Priced at Rp 9,840,000 per package, the blend comprises white tea and 24-carat gold dust, making it suitable for an avid tea drinker.
In addition to the wide variation of teas, TWG Tea also serves afternoon tea packages and tea-infused dishes.
The former is available for individual and sharing. Meanwhile, the latter features a mixture of Indonesian and western dishes, such as oxtail soup and Norwegian salmon.
The oxtail soup is infused with cinnamon tea, while the Norwegian salmon is caramelized with lemon bush tea infused honey glaze.
