Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) Indragiri Hilir Regency, conducts Pesantren Kilat for women’s organizations in Tembilahan. The implementation of this Islamic boarding school was carried out at the Great Mosque of Al-Huda Tembilahan.
The activity, which began with the duha prayer and prayer beads in congregation, was carried out on Friday, April 23, 2021.
The event was filled with religious lectures on Ramadan Membersihkan Hati (By Ramadan, We Should Cleansing the Heart) delivered by Ustadz H Khusairi.
He stated that the heart is the key to the integrity or destruction of human charity.
“We have to be careful with our hearts. Because a heart that is saved from liver disease will get blessings. All bodily deeds such as fasting, hajj, can become damaged, if their heart is damaged. Prayer is both physical and mental charity. If the heart is damaged then there is no. the use of charity dzohirnya. The month of Ramadan is a madrasa to educate our hearts to become holy hearts,” she explained.
On that occasion also, Zulaikhah who is also the Head of K3S Indragiri Hilir Regency accompanied by the Chairperson of the Dharma Wanita Persatuan handed over symbolic assistance, in the form of basic necessities to 10 elderly people and the duafa, as well as prayer kits for 10 orphans.
This year, there were 50 basic food assistance for the elderly, 50 gifts for orphans, and 50 people for PMKS.
Zulaikhah said that this activity was an annual K3S program. As a government partner, K3S is tasked with collecting and recording the people who deserve this assistance so that it is right on target.
“The purpose of this assistance is, of course, a form of government concern through the K3S organization to people in need. Especially during the month of Ramadan we are still in the covid-19 pandemic period,” said Zulikhah.
