When the Regent Alfedri arrived at the first location of the vaccination site, he greeted the residents who wanted to be vaccinated, greeting them one by one.

“This vaccine increases endurance, and the goal is to save and protect human lives from the Covid 19 outbreak,” he said.
The mass vaccination in Sungai Apit sub-district was carried out in the first 4 (four) points in the Puskesmas of Kampung Mektronik, Kampung Harapan, Teluk Batil and Rawa Mekar Jaya. With a vaccination target of 800 residents.
“Our target of vaccination days at Sungai Apit 200 for one village is 800 people, spread over 4 points. Today’s vaccination priority is the elderly, then village officials to the RT and RW levels, mosque imams who are in direct contact with the community, such as traders. and community leaders,” he explained.
He said, this period there are 13,800 vaccines that will be given to the public.
On 20-21 May 2021, simultaneous vaccination will be carried out in all districts.
“Today is the third day we carry out mass vaccinations after the City of Siak, Tualang and today in Sungai Apit, following Wednesday in Dayun sub-district. Our target for this period is that there are 13,800 vaccines, which will be given to the community, more than 4,000 have already been implemented, “he said.
He hopes that the increasing number of vaccinations carried out can reduce the number of Covid-19 transmission in Siak district. He also conveyed that after Eid there was a decrease in COVID-19 cases.
“After Eid al-Fitr, positive cases of Covid 19 have decreased, from 560 cases a week before Eid, currently only 400 cases, followed from the red zone, now the orange zone, we hope we can turn green,” he concluded. (**)
