The Siak Regency Government will provide outstanding scholarship programs for high school graduates or equivalent who want to study but are less fortunate in 2021.
The scholarships are aimed at people from Siak Regency who are registered in the Family Hope Program (PKH) of the Ministry of Social Affairs, said the Head of the Siak Regency Education Office, H Lukman. S.Sos, M.Pd.
“Lukman said, this is a solution from the government for students who want to study but have limited funds. The goal is to improve human resources in Siak Regency,” said Alfedri on Thursday, May 22, 2021.
Registration for the scholarship is open from May 17 to June 11, 2021 at the Siak Regency Education and Culture Office (Disdikbud).
The terms and conditions for obtaining the scholarship must first be high school / vocational high school students who attend school in Siak Regency.
Second, parents who are domiciled in Siak Regency by showing a family card.
And third, participants can register according to the majors set by the Siak Education and Culture Office
The scholarship, the government will bear the semester fee, tuition fee and monthly allowance for the recipient.
“What is covered is semester money, tuition fees and pocket money every month. We are still discussing the estimated costs, because the budget is included in the Revised APBD. But if joining last year, the allowance was around IDR 1 million per month, “said Lukman.
