A number of cafes and restaurants that became community gathering places in the city of Perawang, Tualang District, were targeted by the Covid task force, which was directly led by the Siak Regent, H Alfedri, and the Siak Police Chief Police Grand Commissioner Adjutant (AKBP) Gunar Rahadiyanto.
This raid was carried out in order to suppress the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic. The team consisting of the Indonesian Army, Police of Republic Indonesia, and Civil Service also brought a team of health workers to conduct an on-site antigen test.
“We carried out this raid together with the Covid 19 task force in Tualang District as an effort to cut off and suppress the spread of the Covid 19 virus, which has tended to increase in recent times,” said Alfedri.
He said, if the results of the test antigen were positive, they would be taken to the hospital for further checks, namely PCR Swap.
And if the PCR Swap Results are positive, then tracking will be carried out.
The former Tualang sub-district head appealed to all restaurant and cafe owners to the Government regarding the Enforcement of Restrictions on Micro-Scale Community Activities.
Whereas a place that sells food in the form of a restaurant can operate until 9 pm, local time, but visitors are limited to only 50% and still adhere to health protocols.
Meanwhile, continued Alfedri, after 9 00 pm, it was allowed to operate but the food and drinks were taken home.
Regent Alfedri reminded the task force team to educate the public as well as how to enforce discipline in the community.
“After Tualang, later it can be in Kandis, and Sungai Apit. In Siak, the District Task Force led by the Chief of Police directly. And I hope that we all comply with the regulations that have been set to be implemented properly,” Alfedri concluded.
Of the hundreds of people who carried out a rapid test in several locations, 2 people were said to be reactive and were immediately taken to the Tualang District Hospital.
Gunar Rahadiyanto, SIK, MH said that the activity was carried out to stop the spread of Covid-19 in the Siak Regency area.
“This activity is to prevent the spread of Covid-19 in the community, especially for people who are still found crowding around Tualang sub-district,” he said.
Gunar said that all efforts are currently being made to stop the spread of Covid – 19 in the Siak Regency.
“Siak Regency is still in the orange zone, for that I appeal to all people to always obey the 5M health protocol, wear masks, wash hands with soap, maintain distance, avoid crowds, and reduce mobility and interaction, we pray together hopefully this pandemic. will end soon and we can live normally again, “said Gunar.
