At the official level, the idea was first encouraged by Indonesia’s Tourism and Creative Economy Minister Sandiaga Uno, who himself started working alternately between Bali and Jakarta back in January.
In recent weeks, officials are getting more serious about turning it into a real tourism-boosting program, with a plan in the works potentially requiring civil servants from seven ministries and more recently state-owned enterprises to participate.
And here a list of hotels offering some attractive Work From Bali packages, just in case you’re among those considering the option.
