The Siak district Covid 19 task force team conducted a health protocol raid in the Kandis sub-district.
The operation was directly led by the Regent of Siak Alfedri accompanied by the Head of the Siak Police, AKBP Gunar Rahadiyanto, S.Ik, and the Covid-19 task force in the Kandis sub-district.
The joint raid involved the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), the National Police, the Regency Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP), the Health Service medical team, and the District Leadership Unit targeting 4 crowded points including King cafe, Pondok Bambu Cafe, Dopen and Taman City.
“Operations for legal enforcement against violators of health protocols, especially people who do not use masks, will carry out rapid tests, in collaboration with doctors,” said Regent Alfedri in Kandis.
On that occasion, the Regent appealed to the cafe management to comply with the Health Protocol circular issued by the Regional Government, such as visitors wearing masks, providing handwashing areas, sitting apart, and closing businesses at 21.00 WIB
“Currently, positive cases of Covid-19 continue to increase, to break the chain of spread. We are conducting rapid tests for all cafe visitors,” he said.
One by one the cafe visitors were recorded and carried out a rapid test, and closely guarded by the police. The result is 39 people tested negative and 1 person positive.
“For residents whose results are positive rapid tests, the Covid-19 sub-district tracing task force in the area of ​​residence in question, then we ask to do self-isolation if it is not possible we ask for coordinated isolation.
In addition to carrying out periodical prokes raids. The government has also distributed vaccines to the people of the Kandis sub-district.
“Today, there are 32 of our residents who have been confirmed positive. Of course, we must take countermeasures, so that areas indicated by the orange zone are tried to turn yellow and green.
