The Regent of Siak Alfedri inaugurated and took the oath of office to 49 members of the Village Consultative (Bapekam) throughout the Sungai Apit District for the 2021-2027 period, which was held in the Sungai Apit Sub-District Office Hall.
A total of 49 members of Bapekam in Sungai Apit District, consisting of:
- Kampung Harapan 7 people,
- Kampung Teluk Batil 9 people,
- Kampung Lalang 9 people,
- Village Belemen 7 people,
- Stinging Village 9 people,
- Teluk Lanus Village 7 people
- Kampung Teluk Mesjid (PAW) 1 person.
After inaugurating all Bapekam members in Sungai Apit District, Alfedri congratulated the inauguration of Bapekam members in 7 villages in Sungai Apit District.
“On behalf of the Siak Regency Government, we congratulate the inauguration of all Bapekam members in 7 villages in Sungai Apit District. We hope that you and your mother can carry out their duties and mandate as well as possible,” said Alfedri.
Alfedri explained, Bapekam is a partner and must synergize with the Village Government.
“With a good synergy between Bapekam and the Village Government, the development and welfare of the village community will be easily achieved,” the Siak Regent said.
Alfedri was happy that several Bapekam members were appointed by women.
“It’s time for women to join and take part in collaborating in building the village or its territory. In Siak Regency, there is already a woman who has become a Camat, namely the Camat of Mempura Desy Fefianti,” he explained.
The inauguration and oath-taking of Bapekam members throughout Sungai Apit Sub-district were carried out by implementing Covid-19 prevention health protocols, such as wearing masks, maintaining distance, washing hands before entering the room, and limiting the number of invited guests.
After inaugurating Bapekam members throughout Sungai Apit Sub-district, Alfedri together with Assistant I of the Siak Regency Secretariat who is also the Acting Head of Siak DPMK Budhi Yuwono, Sungai Apit Sub-district Wahyudi, Head of Health Toni Candra visited the epicenter post of Sungai Apit District and Sungai Apit Community Health Center in Mengkap Village.
