The Siak Regent is one of a number of Regional Heads, who held a Compliance Assessment Workshop with the Riau Governor and the Ombudsman of Republic Indonesia (ORI) for Riau Representative by virtual in the Bandar Room, Second Floor of Siak Regent Office.
“This activity is intended to encourage compliance with public service standards in order to accelerate, improve the quality of public services to the community,” said Head of ORI Riau Representative, Ahmad Fitri.
Meanwhile, the Governor of Riau Syamsuar in his speech said that the implementation of this workshop is very important for the improvement of public services in Riau Province.
“The implementation of this workshop has a very important role for the improvement and improvement of public services in Riau Province, for that I thank the Indonesian Ombudsman for organizing this workshop,” said Syamsuar.
Meanwhile, the Regent of Siak Alfedri after the workshop said that the activity was in order to improve excellent public services.
“So this activity is intended to provide refreshment and remind local governments to be more excellent in providing public services,” he said.
He also said that improving public services is the estuary of the implementation of these activities. This is what is needed to anticipate maladministration through the implementation of service standard components for each public service unit.
“That’s the goal, so services to the public must be increased in every agency. Also prevent maladministration in every service unit,” he explained.
Alfedri also explained that the Ombudsman will continue to conduct surveys and assessments of public service compliance with all government agencies (including the Siak Regency Government) and the private sector. According to him, this is in response to increasing public expectations.
“The Ombudsman will continue to conduct surveys as well as assessments of all government and private institutions. This is in response to increasing public expectations. This public expectation is a challenge in itself, as well as an incentive for us to further improve the quality of service,” he said.
Furthermore, Regent Alfadri said that the location and limits of the assessment carried out by the Ombudsman on the government were related to administrative products and services. In the administrative context, the assessment limits include economic licensing, non-economic licensing, population administration, education and health.
“Administrative products, such as economic, non-economic permits, population administration, education, and finally health and service products, these are the focus of the Ombudsman survey and assessment, of course we agree to give serious attention to these service posts,” concluded Alfedri .
This activity was also attended by elements of Forkopimda Riau Province, Regents/Mayors throughout Riau Province. Accompanying the Siak Regent, the Head of Regional Apparatus Organizations within the Siak Regency Government.
