Taking place in the meeting room of the Riau Province BKKBN Representative office in Pekanbaru, Siak Regent H Alfedri received an audience of Plt. Deputy ADPIN BKKBN Dwi Listiawardani.
This meeting is related to the Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev) of the 2021 Family Data Collection (PK21) which has been carried out from April to May 2021.
The Head of Representative for the Riau National Population and Family Planning Agency (BKKBN), Mardalena Wati Yulia, expressed her highest gratitude and appreciation for the commitment and support of the Siak Regency Government in the Implementation of the 2021 Family Data Collection.
Mardalena conveyed the extension of the 2021 Family Data Collection Implementation.
This follows up on the Circular Letter of the Head of the BKKBN Number 4 of 2021 regarding the extension of the implementation of PK21, where until the deadline for implementing PK21 on May 31, 2021, the recorded family has not been maximized (not 100%).
For the province of Riau, it is only 63.1% and the achievement per district/city is still low.
This, he continued, was caused by several obstacles such as the COVID-19 outbreak, natural disasters and the limitations of the internet network. So that the implementation of PK21 has been extended until June 21, 2021.
The Siak Regent, Alfedri, welcomed the hearing regarding the monitoring and evaluation of PK21, so that the objectives of family development and control of the family planning population can be carried out well, especially in Siak Regency.
“We welcome this hearing. The presence of the Deputy Mother here can motivate us, including to accelerate and accelerate family data collection in Siak Regency, “said Regent Alfedri.
Problems in the field, he said, so that they can be resolved properly and find a solution, so that they can maximize the time remaining in collecting data on the family.
“Map which areas have not been recorded. Then cooperate with the local Neighborhood/Hamlet to facilitate data collection,” he said.
According to Acting Deputy of ADPIN BKKBN Dwi Listiawardani, in Riau the achievement of PK21 implementation in Siak Regency is in 6th position.
He encourages related agencies to take strategic steps in the remaining time. Both in collecting family data and inputting the data.
“I am optimistic that districts/cities can implement PK21 well, as long as the problems that occur in the field can be mapped, so that the results are achieved 100%,” said Dwi Listiawardani.
The Head of the Office for Women’s Empowerment, Child Protection, Population Control and Family Planning (DP3AP2KB) Darusalim said that currently based on the number of families entered in the PK21 server dated June 2, 2021, Siak Regency has collected data, as many as 73,308 families or 63.2% of 115,977 HHs targeted at PK21 implementation.
Darusalim explained, as for several things that became obstacles in the implementation of PK21 in Siak Regency, including the implementation of the PK21 survey which coincided with the Month of Ramadan (Fasting), and Eid Al-Fitr 1442 Hijri.
So that people are generally busy with various activities to welcome and carry out fasting and Eid al-Fitr, including data collection cadres, thus affecting the coverage of respondents who have become targets.
Then, the implementation of the PK21 survey was still in the COVID-19 pandemic, severely limiting the movement of cadres and respondents who were targeted.
Problems with information technology, servers and applications on mobile data cadres. Where, the ability of the BKKBN Server is limited, so that not all of the data from the CAPI survey can be inputted as a whole, so they have to wait in a queue, this slows down the input time.
However, his party will work hard to make efforts in the field to achieve the target of achieving family data absorption in PK21.
