Siak Regency Regional Secretary Arfan Usman took part in a virtual Coordination Meeting (Rakev) Evaluation of the Development of Implementation of the Implementation of Micro-Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) in 34 Provinces (including Riau Province) with the Coordinating Minister for the Economy who is also the Chair of the Covid-19 Handling Committee and National Economic Recovery (KPC), Airlangga Hartarto in Zamruud Room, Abdi Praja Housing Complex.
This activity was also attended by the ranks of the Ministers of the Advanced Infonesia Cabinet, including the Minister of Home Affairs Tito Karnavian, Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani Indrawati, Attorney General Burhanuddin, as well as the ranks of the Indonesian Ministry of Health, TNI and Polri.
“This coordination meeting was held in order to discuss the evaluation of the implementation of restrictions on community activities (PPKM) in 34 provinces in Indonesia, including Riau and us (Siak Regency)”, said Secretary of Regional Secretary Arfan after attending the coordination meeting.
Arfan also said that this coordination meeting ordered all regional leaders in Indonesia to extend and expand the implementation of Micro PPKM based on the Instruction of the Minister of Home Affairs which took effect on June 1, 2021.
“Earlier, the Chairman of KPC-PEN, Pak Airlangga, clearly emphasized that as of June 1, 2021, all 34 provinces in Indonesia must follow up on the implementation of Micro PPKM based on instructions from the Ministry of Home Affairs, of course we in the regions are also obliged to follow and implement it,” he said.
According to him, the implementation of Micro PPKM in Siak Regency itself has been carried out in accordance with the Siak Regent Circular Number 100/Setda-Adminpem/144 regarding the implementation of health protocols.
“As of May 31, 2021 in Siak, the Micro PPKM has been carried out in accordance with the Circular of the Regent. We can see now that the Covid-19 case in Siak is starting to slow down, we also saw in the coordination meeting that Riau province in the last two weeks experienced a decline in Covid cases. -19 by 2.03%, of course our joint efforts have contributed to the reduction of Covid-19 at the Riau province and even national levels,” he explained.
Sekda Arfan then conveyed several important things in the implementation of Micro PPKM and Village/Kampung Posko in the future.
“Follow-up to the implementation of Micro PPKM including Posko in Villages and Villages include increasing resources, strengthening tracking and tracking, as well as active monitoring and supervision from the Regional Government regarding the implementation of Micro PPKM. This is our common concern”, he concluded.
