Deputy Regent of Siak Husni Merza attended the Commemorating the 75th Bhayangkara Day ceremony at the Siak Police Station.
The ceremony was led directly by the President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo which was held virtually on Thursday, July 1, 2021.
Husni Merza congratulated the National Police on the 75th Bhayangkara Day.
According to Husni, so far the National Police, especially the Siak Police, and their staff have helped a lot, especially such as the current situation against the Covid 19 Outbreak, controlling Forest and Land Fires as well as in providing conducive security so that Siak Regency becomes safe and peaceful.
“Thank you for the dedication of the Police, especially to the Siak Police and their staff for the concrete actions in participating in trying to restore conditions such as going directly to giving mass vaccines and providing socialization of health protocols to the community. Hopefully, in the future, our lives can return to normal and the epidemic can pass quickly. We also thank the ranks of the Army of Indonesia and related parties in handling the Covid-19 case in Siak, “said Husni.
Police Chief of SIak, AKBP Gunar Rahadiyanto, Sik, MH in his speech also expressed his gratitude to all parties, who have helped in carrying out their duties and have also provided support, especially in providing services to the community.
He also hopes that in conjunction with the 75th Bhayangkara Day, in the future the spirit of the Police in providing services will be even better.
“What we feel for Siak Regency is that our coordination with the local government and Forkopimda is very easy and we also synergize with each other in carrying out our duties,” said Gunar.
Previously, in his virtual remarks when he became the inspector of the 75th Bayangkara Anniversary commemoration ceremony, President Joko Widodo expressed his appreciation for the ranks of the Indonesian National Police for supporting the handling of the Covid-19 pandemic.
“To the big family of the Indonesian National Police, wherever you are, I wish you a happy 75th Bhayangkara Day and also express my highest appreciation for the hard work of the Indonesian National Police in dealing with the current Covid-19 pandemic,” said Jokowi. while attending the 75th Bhayangkara Day commemoration at the State Palace.
According to Jokowi, the Indonesian National Armed Forces has synergized with the ranks of the TNI, doctors, and health workers as well as related ministries/institutions in dealing with the pandemic, as well as with local government officials and volunteers.
Jokowi also asked the Indonesian National Police to continue to actively support the implementation of government policies in handling the Covid-19 pandemic.
