To prevent an oxygen crisis from occurring in Riau Province, as happened in various places on the islands of Java and Bali, the Deputy Chairman of the Riau Regional House of Representatives (DPRD), Hardianto, attended a Coordination Meeting (Rakor) with the Riau Province Covid-19 Task Force.
Including the virtual district/city Covid-19 Task Force, Monday, July 5, 2021, at the Governor’s Hall Serendit Hall led by Riau Governor Syamsuar accompanied by Deputy Governor Edy Natar Nasution and forkopimda.
Riau Governor Syamsuar said that currently, the provincial government needs the support of regents, mayors, and forkopimda as well as related parties to achieve the vaccination target. If the vaccine has run out, immediately inform so that the province can request assistance from the Ministry of Health for additional.
“We have to learn from our friends in Bali and Java regarding the scarcity of oxygen and medicines, it’s better if we anticipate breaking the Covid-19 chain,” he said.
Responding to this, the Deputy Chair of the Riau Provincial DPRD, Hardianto, said that the handling of Covid-19 that needs to be considered is prevention because prevention is better than cure.
“We must unite to suppress the spread by controlling health in the field, such as in crowded centers, lest we be careless so that it does not become an extraordinary spread,” he said.
Hardianto also added that in dealing with this condition, the district/city and provincial governments need very special attention so that there is no oxygen crisis like in Java.
Commission IV DPRD Riau Attends Meeting on Acceleration of Implementation of Special Financial Assistance for RTLH
Chairman of Commission IV of the Riau Provincial DPRD, Parisman Ihwan attended the meeting for the Acceleration of the Implementation of Special Financial Assistance for Uninhabitable Houses (RTLH) for the 2021 budget year. His party was worried that this RTLH could be implemented or not, Monday (5/7/21) in the Hall of the Public Works Office , Spatial Planning, Housing, Settlement and Land Areas (PUPRPKPP) Riau Province.
Parisman Ihwan was accompanied by members of Commission IV, Abdul Kasim and Adam Syafaat. The meeting was also attended by the Acting Head of the Riau Province PUPRPKPP Office, the Head of BPKAD Indra and the ranks.
Parisman Ihwan said that this meeting was a follow-up to the results of the Hearing Meeting (RDP) with the Riau Province PUPRPKPP Office regarding livable houses.
“This meeting is to follow up on the results of our RDP with the PUPR Office of Riau Province regarding livable houses and to accommodate the aspirations of the people whose houses are no longer suitable for habitation which we will turn into decent houses. But from our RDP results last week, we feel We are worried that this livable house can be implemented or not. So we ask the relevant agencies to call and invite all districts/cities in Riau Province and thank God, today 12 districts/cities in Riau Province attended this meeting, “he said.
Furthermore, Parisman Ihwan said that currently, it has entered the second semester, but the realization for livable houses is still not visible.
