A Chinese national reportedly died of being infected with bubonic bubonic plague. This makes China 3 on alert regarding the prevention and transmission of the bubonic plague until the end of 2020.
This is the second confirmed death from the bubonic bubonic plague in China this year.
The US Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) says that people with bubonic bubonic plague will experience painful swollen lymph nodes under the arms, neck, or in the groin. While quoting from the Mayo Clinic, there are several symptoms that can be identified when infected with bubonic as follows.
- Fever and chills.
- extreme weakness
- Stomach pain, diarrhea, and vomiting.
- Swollen lymph nodes
- Bleeding from the skin, nose, or mouth.
Bubonic pes symptoms can appear after the incubation period of one to six days. Quoted from the official CDC website, without treatment the bacteria can spread to other parts of the body.
