A toddler who was 4.5 years old died unnaturally in Sendangagung, Minggir, Sleman.
It is suspected that the toddler was killed by a man with the initials JR (26) who is a close friend of the victim’s biological mother.

Currently, JR has been named a suspect and is being held at the Sleman Police Headquarters detention.
The toddler died Saturday.
The results of the post mortem and autopsy on the victim’s body are still out.
The police have not dared to conclude the cause of the toddler’s death.
However, from the statement of the suspect, the officers found that the dominant form of abuse was carried out empty-handed.
“The statement of the dominant suspect with his bare hands, sometimes being hit, pinching, jewel and so on,” he said.
Regarding motives, Deni is still doing research. However, from the initial information, the perpetrator allegedly tortured the victim because he was annoyed.
The police also explained that the motive of the perpetrator was annoyed with the victim because the victim liked to wet and defecate in the open.
This caused the perpetrator to feel angry and then took his anger out on the victim.
The victim’s biological mother did not even know about the torture committed by JR.
This is because the abuse was carried out when the victim’s biological mother was not at home.
In addition, the suspect was wearing clothes with long sleeves and trousers to cover the scars.
Even now, the police are still investigating this case.
Against the suspect, the police charged him with the Child Protection Law.
