Xiaomi is scheduled to launch the Mi 10 Ultra phone in mid-Dec 2020. Starting from the market in its own country, China, the superior features of the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra include a superzoom camera up to 120x based on artificial intelligence (AI).
In a statement published on its official blog, Xiaomi stated that it has installed a four-camera array on the back of the Mi 10 Ultra.
Each of them is a 48 MP main lens, with a 20 MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 120x super zoom lens, and a 12 MP portrait lens.
The 48 MP main camera is said to use a sensor of 1 / 1.32 and a pixel density of up to 1.2 nanometers, the four-in-one pixels can be increased to 2.4 nanometers.
This feature in the main camera serves to maintain image quality in various lighting situations.
In addition, this camera uses the Sony IMX586 sensor that also equipped with a 120x AI super zoom telephoto capability, which can take pictures in low light because it has a density of 1.6-nanometer four-in-one Super Pixel.
This telephoto lens also supports viewfinder mode, when zooming above 15x, a small viewing window will appear on the screen.
The Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra has a 128-degree ultra-wide-angle lens of 20 MP and a focal length of 12 millimeters, and a 12MP portrait lens that can be used for 2x optical zoom, with a focal length of 50 millimeters.
In terms of screen, Xiaomi equips Mi 10 Ultra with a 6.67-inch concave OLED panel, the brightness level reaches 800 nits while the “peak value” is 1120 nits.
The Mi 10 Ultra offers a 120Hz refresh rate for the display, while the 240Hz touch sampling rate makes for a pleasant experience when using the screen.
Other capabilities that Xiaomi excels in for the Mi 10 Ultra include the Mi Turbo Charge fast charger for a 4,500 mAh battery, supports 120 W wired charging, 50 W wireless, and 10 W reverse charging. With 120 W charging, Xiaomi claims the phone will charge 41 percent in just 5 minutes. Meanwhile, to reach 100 percent, the Mi 10 Ultra took 23 minutes.
The Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra uses a chip from Qualcomm, Snapdragon 865, LPDDR5 type RAM, and UFS 3.1 type memory. This phone has a LiquidCool 2.0 vapor chamber cooling system, plus 6 layers of graphite and graphene.
The Xiaomi Mi 10 has RAM and ROM variations of 8/128 GB, 8/256 GB, 12/256 GB, and 16/512 GB, with prices equivalent to around IDR 11.2 million to IDR 14.8 million.
There is no information yet whether this phone will enter the Indonesia’s market.
