Gregory Samuel Haasze, 34, a Florida man was found dead in his jail cell Saturday. Before, that man confessed to planting more than two dozen pipe bombs.
Haasze was arrested last Wednesday after police found multiple pipe bombs in Boynton Beach, about an hour north of Miami and make him spent two days in Palm Beach County jail.
The bombs were found in a high-traffic area with multiple large retail locations and apartment complexes after reports of loud noise.
The discovery led to evacuations and panic but no injuries were reported.
According to the Sun-Sentinel, he was found unresponsive by a deputy around 8:50 p.m with a torn sheet tied around his neck.
Life-saving measures were attempted by the deputy and paramedics who came to the scene, but Haasze was declared dead shortly after 9 p.m.
For his act, Haasze faced 26 counts and was being held on USD 130,000 bond.
Before his death, he told investigators he used the explosives for celebrations and removing tree stumps.
