The Narcotics Resort Unit of the Indragiri Hilir Resort Police arrested two male suspects of methamphetamine-type narcotics, on Monday, August 17, 2020.
From the two actors, FS (23 years) and MS (18 years) found evidence of methamphetamine with a total of 11, 60 grams, with details in the hands of FS as many as 50 packages of methamphetamine weighing 8.81 grams and in the hands of MS 16 packages weighing 2 , 79 grams.
As explained by the Chief of Indragiri Hilir Resort Police, Adjunct Senior Commissioner of Police Dian Setyawan through the Head of the sub-section of public relations Adjunct Police Commissioner Warno Akman, on the evening of Sunday 16 August 2020, members of the Indragiri Hilir Resort Police Drug Research Unit received information from the public that in Sungai Beringin, FS often carries out narcotics transactions.
“This information was conveyed to the Head of the Indragiri Hilir Police Drug Detective Unit, Adjunct Police Commissioner Bahctiar, who subsequently ordered the Operations of the Drug Research Unit to carry out an investigation,” said Warno.
After receiving accurate information, on Monday 17 August 2020 afternoon, members of the Drug Research Unit immediately arrested FS and MS.
“After conducting a search, witnessed by RT and local residents, evidence of methamphetamine was found with a total of 11.60 grams. Then the two perpetrators and the evidence were taken to the Inhil Police Headquarters for further investigation,” he explained.
In addition to the evidence of methamphetamine, the Drug Research Unit also secured 1 digital scale, 2 cellphones and 680,000 cash.
