The United States is trying to thwart India’s efforts to buy the world’s most advanced air defense missile systems, the S-400 and the Su-57 4th generation fighter jets from Russia.
This American effort was revealed in an official statement delivered by the Assistant Secretary of State of America, R Clarke Cooper.
Cooper incited India to rethink buying the S-400 and Su-57.
He even threatened that if India were to buy it, it would worsen New Delhi’s relations with Washington.
In fact, Cooper shamelessly even offered to India to buy weapons similar to American production.
Instead of buying the S-400, America offered the THAAD and Patriot air defense systems.
Meanwhile, to compete with the Sukhoi Su-57 generation 4, America is bidding on the F-35 stealth fighter jet.
In fact, this is not the only time India has collaborated with Russia on weapons technology.
India and Russia have co-produced the T-90 tank, then purchased the Su-30MK fighter jet.
Then it produced the BrahMos hypersonic missile to make the Kalashnikov assault rifle.
India is not the first world country that America has harassed over its purchase of the S-400 from Russia.
The same thing happened to Turkey.
But in the end, Turkey ignored American incitement and still brought the S-400 to Istanbul.
