A man is caught in the kidnapping video in front of a restaurant in Malaysia.
The video shows several men trying to push the struggling victim into the Toyota Alphard.
The video was recorded by witnesses of the incident in broad daylight when the suspect managed to kidnap the victim.
Miri District Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Lim Meng Seah said the incident took place at 4 pm during which four men kidnapped the victim and threw her into the vehicle.
He said the victim was found three hours later at 7 pm in front of a bank in the city center, the Daily Metro reported.
Lim added that community members who were nearby had recorded the incident.
The 18-second video then went viral on social media.
Meanwhile, the police are investigating the motive for the incident and are tracking all the suspects.
“The police asked witnesses to step forward to assist with the investigation,” said Lim.
He added that the victim was taken to the police station to help with the investigation.
The case is now being investigated under Article 363 of the Criminal Code (KK) for kidnapping.
