Authorities in Kota Bharu have arrested a 70-year-old man who brutally shot a cat dead.
He also injured another cat, after the cats entered his yard and rested there.
According to Kosmo, the brutal shooting of the 70’s retiree was carried out with an air rifle.
Police Chief of Kota Bharu, ACP Tuan Abdul Rahim Daud confirmed that they received reports related to the incident.
“Police arrested the suspect at 12:20 p.m. yesterday (August 20) and further investigations are being carried out,” he said.
One of the residents in the area also related that they were surprised to hear what the man had done and said:
“It’s hard to believe, considering he’s someone who is easy to work with well with.”
