Building a harmonious and happy married life is not an easy matter.
There are times when someone ends up having an affair because they no longer match their partner.
However, it is different from the story of this mother named Emma Fedigan.
Emma, 37, is either pansexual or has an attraction to any gender.
Emma is married to her husband, Robert, and has 4 children.
However, Emma admitted that she was bored because she did not have the opportunity to explore her status as pansexual.
Launching The Sun, Emma and Robert agree to try dating other people again even though they are married.
About three years ago, Emma and Robert dated another husband and wife named Simon and Kelly.
Initially, the polyamory relationship ran smoothly.
Apart from having a husband, Emma has also dated Simon and Kelly.
Meanwhile, her husband Robert was only dating Kelly and friends with Simon.
However, the relationship did not go smoothly.
Last year, Emma broke up with Kelly and this made her husband break up too.
Even so, Emma wanted to maintain a good relationship with Robert and Simon.
Although difficult, Emma now has two male partners.
“I’m in a loving relationship with Simon, while Rob and I have been hooked since 2006.”
Not getting there, Simon also took care of Emma and Robert’s children. In fact, Simon has a nickname as a backup parent.
Simon himself admitted that he did not want to break up with Emma even though his wife had refused to be involved in a polyamorous relationship.
“There is jealousy, it is a problem. But jealousy is just an emotion and you can solve it by talking,” added Simon.
Robert also supports Emma’s choice. According to him, their relationship can continue to run smoothly as long as there is communication.
On the other hand, Emma herself is no longer able to connect with her extended family because of this unusual love affair.
“Emma has some problems with her family, but most people are now open-minded about polyamory relationships,” said Robert.
