The Minister for Agriculture of Ireland, Dara Calleary resigned after involved with the coronavirus breach scandal.
Before resigned, known that Dara Calleary along with Deputy Chairman of the Senate of Ireland, Jerry Buttimer attending a golf society dinner with over 80 diners on last Thursday.
And it had breached regulations of coronavirus restrictions that make by Ireland’s government. So, the public anger grew over the breach of senior politicians and urged Ireland’s parliament is to be recalled from its recess early.
As cited from the national broadcaster RTE, a government spokesperson told that the opposition leaders have been calling for a recall from their post.
The Prime Minister of Ireland Micheal Martin and his deputy Leo Varadkar had asked the senior government figures and the European Union Trade Commissioner, Phil Hogan to resigned.
