A member of the TNI-AD was found dead by residents hanging from a cashew tree.
Precisely in Rahantari Village, West Kabaena District, Bombana Regency, Southeast Sulawesi, on Wednesday (19 August 2020).
The victim was first found by a local resident named Audi who was about to go to his garden at around 06.00 pm.
On the way, he found someone wearing a complete uniform hanging from a tree.
Seeing this incident, Audi immediately rushed to report the matter to local residents and then contacted the police.
When found, the victim’s condition was quite strange. The reason is, the man is hanging with his hands tied back.
The results of the identification, the man was the Village Guidance Officer (Babinsa), Rahantari named Serda Rusdi.
Commander of Korem (Danrem) 143 / Haluoleo Brigadier General Jannie Aldrin Siahaan said Serda Rusdi was found dead because his breathing was obstructed.
Meanwhile, when asked if there were other indications related to Serda Rusdi’s death, such as suicide or being killed, Brigadier General Jannie only said that he should wait for the results of the investigation.
In addition, Danrem 143 / HO also revealed that the TNI killed case would be handled by the Military Police Detachment (Den POM) Korem 143 Haluoleo.
