At least 9 people killed after a bus and a passenger van have collided in Poland on Sunday, August 23, 2020. The incident occurred at late near the town of Gliwice, in Silesia, a region in southwestern Poland.
The crash also injured seven people.
As cited News24xx.com from ABCNews, the collision involved a bus that carrying 49 passengers and a Renault Trafic passenger van with nine people aboard.
From the investigation, knowing that the driver of the van lost control of his vehicle and swerved to avoid hitting the side of the road.
But, the van overturned and its roof collided with the front of the larger bus. And the incident killing all nine people in the van.
Marek SÅ‚omski, a police spokesman said seven of them were taken to hospitals, and the driver is the one in the most serious condition.
