Abuse of Narcotics and Drugs (Drugs) and Covid-19 are the main enemies of society that must be fought together for the health and welfare and prosperity of the community.
This was conveyed by the Regent of Siak, Drs.H.Alfedri, M.Si, when giving direction at the event on the Danger of Narcotics and Drugs (Narcotics), as well as the Socialization of Law Enforcement of Health Protocol Disciplines to the community in the Hall of Kampung Mandi Angin, Minas District.
He said that drug dealers are traitors to the nation because they seek to profit by destroying the nation’s children
Alfedri then reminded all elements of society to stay away and jointly prevent the circulation of drugs from entering the village area. According to him, these drugs are the main trigger for other crimes to emerge that disrupt security and public order.
“I invite community leaders, youth leaders, religious leaders, and the community of Kampung Mandi Angin to jointly guard against drugs into our village,” he appealed.
Regent Alfedri also reminded that the current struggle against the spread of Covid-19 has entered a very worrying point. “Last night someone died positive for Covid-19 in Minas sub-district because it is required every activity to always apply strict health protocols, especially wearing masks, washing hands, not gathering. “I hope the public will continue to adhere to health protocols so that later the Siak Regency Community that is healthy, conducive, and prosperous, and free of Covid-19 will be realized,” he concluded.
The event was also attended by the Head of the Sub-District, Head of the Siak District Health Office, Dr. Thony Chandra, the Head of the Narcotics Unit of the Siak Resort Police, as well as the leader and community leaders, youth leaders, religious leaders, and the people of Kampung Mandi Angin.
