Residents of Kelurahan Kuala Lempuing, City of Bengkulu, were shocked by the discovery of a woman’s corpse hanging inside her relative’s house and the suspicion of suicide was strong.
Ratu Agung Police Chief, Iptu Noviaska SH MH said the incident began when the victim’s father, Septian (45), was looking for his daughter MT (19) because She was afraid that the victim had intended to commit suicide.
Septian revealed that the reason for his daughter’s suicide was because of a love affair. Her daughter admits she is disappointed with her boyfriend.
Worried, his father came to MT’s grandfather’s house to look for MT but could not be found.
MT’s father and her grandfather went straight to her brother’s house which was empty and locked.
Suspecting that the door was locked, MT’s father immediately broke into it and found MT hanging on the door frame of the room.
The victim was taken to the Gading Medika hospital in Bengkulu City to get first aid, but the victim’s life could not be saved.
