The Regent of Indragiri Hilir, HM Wardan inaugurated the Tahfidz House and Daarul Hudhari Islamic Boarding School in Tembilahan Hilir Village, Tembilahan District, Thursday, August 27, 2020.
Starting with the recitation of the Holy Qur’an, the event was filled with the recitation of the An-Naba surah and religious lectures by the pesantren students.
The head of the Islamic boarding school Daarul Hudhori said that the background for the establishment of the Tahfidz house was not only to support the government but to realize the mandate of his family, where the tahfidz house was intended as a fortress for the younger generation to avoid radicalism.
Meanwhile, the Regent said that entering Muharram Month, Indragiri Hilir usually celebrated a celebration by carrying out various religious activities.
However, due to the pandemic that was not over yet, the annual Muharram agenda could not be implemented.
Regarding the tahfidz house, according to him, the tahfidz house is a continuous program of the Maghrib of the Koran program which is intended to produce the Qur’ani generation.
“The government hopes that in every village there will be born hafidz and hafidzah who will fill the mosques in their respective areas. Thanks to H Hudhori’s extended family for their contribution to the construction of this tahfidz house,” said the Regent.
On that occasion, the Regent handed over a placard to the leadership of Daarul Hudhori Islamic Boarding School. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Religion of Indragiri Hilir Regency handed over the waqf from the Qur’an.
