Ricky Ganya, a 14-year-old teenager, died in a tragic manner when a crocodile suddenly grabbed his leg and dragged him into the water.
When the incident happened, the boy’s aunt immediately ran for help.
But almost four days the crocodile that pounced on Ricky had not been found.

Rescue workers finally took the initiative to provide bait in the form of a chicken.

According to the assistant director of the Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department Tiong Ling Hii, the crocodile was caught at 9:15 a.m. on Friday.

A few days before Ricky’s death, another villager, 47-year-old Kong Gindi, was also attacked by a crocodile while he was doing routine maintenance on his ship.
