The Class II Immigration Office at the Tembilahan Immigration Checkpoint held a press conference regarding the arrest of suspected immigration crime, on Tuesday, September 1, 2020.
The man from Myanmar has an Indragiri Hilir Identity Card and is known to have been in Indonesia since 9 years ago.
The suspect is also known to have a business of buying and selling betel nuts and is known to live in Sungai Gantang, Kempas District.
As explained by the Head of the Traffic and Immigration Stay Permit Section, Deny Haryadi, the suspect with the initials K has committed a violation of Article 126 letter C of Law Number 6 of 2011 concerning immigration.
“This is the first case in Indragiri Hilir. What is clear is that we are currently focusing on developing how those concerned can enter Indonesia, ”explained Deny.
