The decision due to the a spike of COVID-19 cases in those countries. As information, more than 100 doctors in Indonesia have died, and India is now the third country with the deaths so far.
But, the government of India has been accused of undercounting Covid-19 deaths due to a variety of reasons.
Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said during a press briefing told that the decision was made following advice from the Health Ministry of Malaysia.
