Dwayne Johnson revealed that he and his family got walloped by COVID-19.
Dwayne Johnson or The Rock is a former professional wrestler. But now, he’s the highest-paid actor in Hollywood.
Through his Instagram video on Wednesday, he revealed that he, his wife and their two young daughters contracted the virus from close family friends. And they also spent about 2½ to 3 weeks battling it.
He told, “We have all tested positive for COVID-19. My daughters suffered only minor sore throats for the first couple days, but me and my wife Lauren had a rough go to breath. I tell you that this has been one of the most challenging and difficult things we have ever had to endure as a family. But, we got through it as a family. We’re stronger. We’re better. We did it together.”
And he also called that the virus is very dangerous, but assured fans that he and his loved ones on the mend.
And The Rock urged his followers to stay disciplined and follow the science.
“Please, wear your mask. It is the right thing to do. Not only for yourself but your family and your loved ones,” he said.
