Frankie, which is short for Frankenkitten, got his name after he was found and rescued from under a house in Geelong, Australia, with a maimed and infected eye.
Initially discovered, he had suffered from a severe overbite.
Therefore, as his adult teeth grew, he needed to extract them to prevent them from growing to the roof of his mouth, reports Meowingtons.
Frankie was then taken to the Geelong Animal Welfare Society where he underwent the necessary surgery to remove his deformed eye, cleaned it, and treated it until it healed.
All four ears are the result of a genetic error so rare that there have been almost no studies of cats with extra ears.
But despite the health complications of Frankie and her many ears, she is said to be very happy, healthy, cheerful, and loving.
