About 40 students were listening to a lecturer who gave material online via zoom when a sudden event occurred.
The lecturer named Professor Paola De Simone (46), he teaches world history of the 20th century.
However, he suddenly stopped explaining the material with slides.
Quoted by Pikiran-Rakyat.com from the Washington Post page, she seemed to have difficulty breathing so the students asked the professor for an address to call an ambulance but there was no response.
A student who participated in the class, Ana Breccia, confirmed on Friday, September 5, 2020, that the professor fainted while the teaching and learning activities were taking place.
There is also student Breksi (23) who stated that at one point, De Simone was seen contacting her husband for help.
Until her husband, all the students who were present in the learning activities also watched.
Professor Paola De Simone has long taught at the Argentine University of Enterprise in Buenos Aires.
But unfortunately, he was declared dead on Wednesday, September 2, 2020, after fainting in front of his students.
According to the Argentine newspaper Clarin, the professor whose Twitter account has now been deleted by her family, posted a tweet last week.
The professor confirmed that she had symptoms of the new coronavirus (Covid-19) and had been going on for weeks before.
A number of students and colleagues told The Post that they were not surprised to hear that De Simone was continuing to teach despite not being well.
“It’s not a surprise, I’m actually describing Paola deciding, ‘I can really do this, my students need me’,” said her colleague, Silvina Sterin Pensel.
She said that De Simone’s training was a reminder that the coronavirus was real.
